Graduates of Lander University’s College of Education are ready to put their education to use in classrooms.
As Rose Castillo crossed the stage at Lander University’s commencement ceremony on May 6, she carried with her more than a degree. She carried a story of growth and discovery that began in Beaufort and flourished in Greenwood.
As Lander University graduates prepared to step into the next chapter of their lives, South Carolina Chief Justice John W. Kittredge encouraged them to embrace the moments that shape character and purpose in life.
Amelia Beasley, a business administration major with a pre-law minor, is a senior from Elgin, South Carolina. She has dreamed of becoming a lawyer since childhood and committed to Lander’s pre-law program to follow that dream.
