On Thursday, May 7, the College of Business and Technology had the opportunity to name one Lander alumnus as the Community Collaborator of the Year.
On their first day of nursing school at Lander University, many students experienced similar emotions: excitement for the future mixed with fear, and uncertainty about the demanding road ahead. Years later, those emotions were transformed into confidence, compassion and a deep commitment to serving others.
Earlier this semester, several students demonstrated their dedication to a holistic, career-focused education at the annual South Carolina Speech and Theatre Association College Festival held at Newberry College.
